Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Lee’s Balloons & Party Rentals. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Event & Rental Terms Lee’s Balloons & Party Rentals rents equipment listed in your final invoice. All items remain our property. Clients must return them in the same condition received.
2. Rental Equipment & Pickup Preparation If setup/breakdown services were not selected, rental items must be stacked and cleared of any non-Lee’s items before pickup. If setup/breakdown was selected, all outside items must be removed prior to our arrival.
3. Rental Period
Our standard rental period is 24 hours unless otherwise arranged. Rentals must be picked up by 8 AM and returned by 8 AM the following day. (If your return falls on a Sunday, you may drop off on Monday at 8 AM.) You're welcome to pick up your rental after 8 AM, but it must still be returned by 8 AM the next day. Please be mindful that we need time to prepare the item for the next client. Late returns may result in additional fees.Sunday Rentals: We are closed Sundays. Sunday rentals must be booked as Saturday rentals. Items will be picked up Monday or returned by 9 AM Monday.
4. Client Pickup & Transport Clients must bring enclosed vehicles (SUV, van, box truck) with their own moving blankets and straps. Our team does not load vehicles. Clients accept responsibility once items leave our location. Pickup location will be provided upon booking.
5. Payment Terms A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at booking. Remaining balance is due 24 hours before delivery or pickup. Orders will not be released without full payment.
6. Late Returns & Fees Late returns incur full daily rental fees. Repeat violations may impact future rentals.
7. Customization & Painting Custom items are non-refundable after production begins. Last-minute changes may incur repainting fees.
8. Delivery, Setup & Breakdown Client must provide full access and details in advance. Additional fees apply for stairs, restricted access, or delays.
9. Cancellations & Rescheduling All deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations within 24 hours of the event owe the full balance. Reschedules are not guaranteed and depend on availability.
10. Equipment Responsibility Clients are responsible for rental items during the event, including damage, loss, or mishandling.
11. Liability Waiver We are not liable for any injuries or property damage caused by misuse of rentals. Clients agree to indemnify Lee’s Balloons & Party Rentals.
12. Weather & Outdoor Use Client is responsible for protecting rentals from weather. Damages caused by weather will be billed accordingly.
13. Governing Law This agreement is governed by Connecticut law and enforceable in Tolland County.
14. Agreement Compliance By booking, you confirm understanding and acceptance of these terms. A signed rental contract via Jotform is required to complete your booking. If the contract is not signed, your booking will be canceled and the date released.
15. Additional Fees May Apply For:
- Late returns
- Rush bookings (within 24 hours)
- Delivery outside regular hours
- Stairs/elevator access
- Improper pickup prep
- Damaged/missing items
- Unreturned packaging
- Delayed site access
- Setup/breakdown labor
- Permit or parking violations
16. Business Hours & Availability Lee’s Balloons & Party Rentals operates during the following hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Deliveries and pickups are only available during business hours unless the client has arranged and paid for Early Bird or Rush Pickup services in advance. Sunday rentals must be booked as Saturday rentals.
